Ben Sperry is senior scholar of innovation policy at the International Center for Law & Economics. His research focuses on the intersection of civil liberties and government regulation, including in the areas of online speech, platform regulation, competition policy, telecommunications, and criminal justice reform. In addition to many amicus briefs and regulatory comments, his work has appeared in The First Amendment Law Review, The Hill, Competition Policy International, Real Clear Markets, the Tampa Bay Times, Reason Magazine, and many other print and online publications.
Ben is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He is a former public defender and high school basketball coach.
