Tech Policy Reception

November 21, 2019 at 6:00 PM ET

Kennedy Caucus Room, Russell Senate Office Building, Room SR-325
2 Constitution Avenue, NE
Washington, DC 20002

As technology and tech companies become a larger and larger part of the national economy and our daily lives, Congress faces constant challenges to crafting thoughtful policy on the subject. This reception offers Capitol Hill staff the opportunity to meet and chat with experts in the area of technology policy and regulation. In addition to our speakers, numerous other tech policy experts from the area’s leading think tanks will be in attendance. Drinks and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Please join us on Thursday, November 21 at 6 p.m. for cocktails and brief remarks by tech policy experts Adam Thierer, Caleb Watney, and Ashkhen Kazaryan. Members of the Regulatory Transparency Project’s Emerging Technology Working Group will be in attendance to discuss today’s regulatory challenges for emerging tech.
